Submit an enquiry form online and Tyro will send you an application to complete and create your account.

Complete your setup
Once you’re an approved Tyro customer, Tyro will send your EFTPOS machine of choice and instructions to finalise setup.

You're now ready to go and can start taking payments via your new Tyro payment solution.

Once you submit your enquiry form, Tyro will email you an application to complete so that your account can be created. Once you’re an approved Tyro customer, Tyro will then send your EFTPOS machine of choice and instructions to finalise setup so you can start taking payments.

Once you’re an approved Tyro customer, you’ll receive the following hardware from Tyro at the address you’ve provided:
- Tyro Go EFTPOS reader
- USB charging cable
- Stickers to display the payment types accepted by Tyro Go.

To start taking payments, download the Tyro Go App and pair Tyro Go via Bluetooth with your internet-enable smart device.

Yes, to sign up for Tyro with Telstra, simply complete a web form. Once Tyro have your details, a payments specialist will be in touch.

No. Tyro can settle EFTPOS payments into any Australian bank account.

Tyro has no lock-in contract, and you may cancel at any time.

Once your application is approved, it’ll take 1-2 business days in metro areas for the EFTPOS machine/s to arrive.

For customers who choose to settle their funds into a Tyro Bank Account, they have their funds available to them daily, seven days a week, at a time they choose from 8pm to 5am.
If your settlement account is not a Tyro Bank Account, you’ll receive your takings to your settlement account no later than two (2) business days.

You can keep using your existing EFTPOS machine until your Tyro EFTPOS machine arrives. When you receive your new hardware, simply plug in, activate and go so you can focus on your business.

Yes, provided the BNPL provider issues a Visa or Mastercard®* with their service.

No. You can sign up for a Tyro EFTPOS solution and take advantage of our Tyro offer so long as you have an ABN and submit your enquiry with Telstra.

No. Transaction rates and any additional fees are subject to change, as set out in the Tyro application form and terms and conditions.

No. Buy Now Pay Later (e.g. Afterpay, Zip), MOTO, and Diners Club payments are excluded from fixed, flat transaction rates. Tyro charges 0.10% ex. GST to process Diners Club transactions and 0.15% ex. GST to process MOTO transactions.

Yes, GST is included in Tyro transaction rates.

No, this offer does not apply to eCommerce transactions.

The following offer (Offer) is currently available to Telstra referred customers who acquire a Tyro EFTPOS solution on a simple pricing structure from Tyro Payments Limited (ABN 49 103 575 042) (Tyro):
- 1.4% (incl. GST) transaction fee (Fee) for Tyro BYO and Tyro Go device.
- 1.6% (incl. GST) transaction fee (Fee) for Mobile and Countertop devices.
- $15,000 worth of fee-free transactions.
The Offer only applies once per new Tyro customer but does not apply to eCommerce transactions. The Offer and included free terminal rental (if relevant) are subject to your reasonable use, and your use will be deemed unreasonable by Tyro in its absolute discretion if it is:
- contrary to the way that the Offer was intended to be used, or
- otherwise unacceptable.
The Fee is subject to change in accordance with the Tyro Terms & Conditions. Additional fees and charges apply as set out in the Tyro Application Form and Terms & Conditions. The Offer does not apply to terminal paper rolls and terminal accessories (additional charges apply).
The Fee excludes Diners Club card transactions and MOTO fees, which are charged in accordance with Tyro’s Application Form and Terms & Conditions.
The Offer is not available in conjunction with Bendigo Bank powered by Tyro EFTPOS products.
Tyro and Telstra reserve the right to withdraw or extend this Offer at any time, at their discretion. If the Offer is withdrawn, the Offer will be honoured in respect of all applications received by Tyro from Telstra customers before the Offer is withdrawn.
Tyro Go requires a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device or tablet, an app to be installed and mobile network coverage. Check Google Play & App Store for the latest OS compatibility requirements. Tyro BYO requires an iPhone XS or newer with iOS 16.4 or later installed, the Tyro BYO App to be installed, and mobile network coverage.

All enquiries to Telstra about Tyro products are referred on by Telstra to Tyro who will to contact you about their products and provide you with further information - Telstra cannot give advice on Tyro’s products.
